Foundation Executive Director

The Western Nebraska Community College Foundation is currently accepting applications for the position of Foundation Director.

Responsibilities:
Management of all Foundation operations and events including, but not limited to: fundraising development and activities; donor stewardship activities; financial record-keeping; annual campaign organization; office management; donor and community relations; special event planning and execution; organization, with the Board President, of Board meetings; representation of the Foundation to the College, elected officials and outside entities. 

Qualifications:
Excellent public relations, writing, and oral presentation skills; computer and graphic arts skills; experience preferred in fund-raising activities, non-profit administration, special event planning, marketing and/or community service activities, and grant writing; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public relations, advertising, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred. Five years of increasingly responsible experience in fundraising activities, foundation administration, or public relations, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility preferred.  Previous higher education experience preferred.

Salary:
Commensurate.

Start Date:
Immediate.
