Green Printing Program

WNCC recognizes the importance of sustainability and being good stewards of our environment.  In concurrence with other efforts around campus to decrease our ecological footprint, the College has started the Green Printing Program to reduce paper waste.  While recycling is very important, reducing what we use is the best way to minimize our impact on the environment.

The Green Printing Program uses software called PaperCut to manage printing. PaperCut is easy to use and will walk you through the steps to print.

How much does it cost?

5 cents per page.

How do I add money to my PaperCut account?

Money can be added at the Scottsbluff Business Office, Sidney Office, and Alliance Office. To reduce transaction demands on staff, $1.00 is the minimum that can be added. An online payment option is coming soon.

Can I get a refund for a page that doesn’t print properly?

A refund may be requested by a student if a print is deemed unreadable or is otherwise unusable because of a printer malfunction. Refunds may not be requested for problems arising from user error, for example, printing the wrong document.

Refunds will be credited to the student’s print account only. Scottsbluff refund requests can be made in the Libary. Sidney refund requests will be handled by Sidney office staff. Alliance refund requests will be handled by Alliance office staff.

Refunds must be requested within 24 hours of when the print job occurred. A student is required to submit the unreadable pages when making a refund request.
