Business Training & Development

Training, updating and retraining employees is an ongoing challenge for any business, and it can be costly. The Business and Community Education Division can help you maintain a work force that is up-to-date with today’s technology to keep your business on the cutting edge — all at an affordable cost. Customized workplace training offers effective and affordable training tailored to the needs of your business and employees.

Classes are offered at your site or at any WNCC location and are delivered through online, distance learning or traditional classroom methods and include assessment, instruction and evaluation. Curriculum and evaluations can be customized to meet the unique needs of your business.

Training is conducted by experienced trainers who have the knowledge and expertise needed for your business and your employees. HATC utilizes full time and adjunct instructors as well as specialists in manufacturing, business technologies, leadership, computer skills, regulatory compliance and much more.

The Harms Advanced Technology Center can also accommodate large group training events. The Center contains a training complex comprised of four quads, each equipped with its own sympodium and audio visual equipment. Each quad can be set up banquet-, theatre-, or classroom-style and the “Plex” has a capacity of 400.  Catering is also available for all training events.
