    The 2017 Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) District VI Music Contest will be held at Western Nebraska Community College on Thursday, April 20.    Nearly 1,000 vocal and instrumental musicians, representing 15 area high school systems are competing for ratings throughout the day.     The theatre department at Western Nebraska Community College presents "All in the Timing" by David Ives and directed by theatre major Pasiensia Marez. Performances are scheduled for April 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. and April 30 at 2 p.m. in the WNCC Little Theatre located on the Scottsbluff campus.   Tickets are $5 for the community and free for WNCC students, faculty, and staff with an ID.     Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) is hosting the national 2017 College Powerline Rodeo April 6 - 7 at the Powerline Lab on the Alliance campus and the John N. Harms Center on the Scottsbluff campus.   College lineman teams from across the country compete in three physical events as well as a written exam.
