    A car accident late last night claimed the lives of two Western Nebraska Community College students, Alexis Wheeler, 18, and Hallie Anderson, 19. Alexis, a freshman pre-nursing student, was also a WNCC dual credit student her junior and senior years of high school. Hallie was a WNCC freshman who began taking courses during the fall 2012 semester.     Western Nebraska Community College Art Instructor Yelena Khanevskaya is the featured artist for the month of November inside the Nebraska governor's residence.  The Nebraska Arts Council pronounced Khanevskaya one of 13 artists who are featured in the Governor's Residence Exhibition Program during the 2012-13 season.
