    Western Nebraska Community College Vocal Music program, under the direction of Dr. Imgyu Kang, presents the Vocal Showcase Saturday, October 29 at the Midwest Theater in downtown Scottsbluff. The annual event features the talents of Collegiate Chorale, Varsity Vocalise, soloists, and small ensembles such as Quintessence, Just Bluffin', and the newly formed a capella group Zeitgeist.     Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) today announced that it has received a $50,000 gift from WESTCO. As part of the WNCC Works: Expanding the Possibilities campaign, the gift will support the New and Expanding Programs fund through the campaign. The initial focus of the fund is to create an Applied Agriculture certificate training program, which will benefit local agribusinesses and producers by providing a highly skilled and trained workforce....     The Instrumental Music program at Western Nebraska Community College presents the eighth annual Fall Ball on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Gering Civic Center. WNCC is in the midst of celebrating 90 years as an institution, and in honor of that anniversary, Dr. Nathaniel Johnson, director of instrumental activities, chose the "Roaring Twenties" as the theme for this year's Ball.     Western Nebraska Community College today announced that it has received a $25,000 gift from Bytes Computer & Network Solutions to support student success. As part of the WNCC Works: Expanding the Possibilities campaign, the gift will enable the college to expand SMART classroom technology on its Scottsbluff campus.
