Program Overview

The Pre-Engineering emphasis area, offered at our Scottsbluff campus, is designed for those students who are interested in the field of engineering. This emphasis area offers knowledge and skills in science, mathematics, engineering, and general education that are common to many engineering disciplines and normally required of freshman and sophomore engineering students. This program is in alignment with the STEP program for direct transfer with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Objectives

Permit the student to explore various courses of mathematics and sciences that may lead to a major in a specialized emphasis.
