Program Overview

In just over a year, you'll be ready for a new future! Earn a diploma in Powerline Construction & Maintenance Technology in 12 months, or an Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in 15 months. WNCC offers a Powerline Construction and Maintenance Technology degree at our Alliance Campus.

Through Merchant Job Training and Safety, this program provides students with the training to apply technical knowledge and learned skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric transmission and distribution lines. You will also become familiar with electric underground cable design and installation.

Upon completion of this program, you will possess the necessary skills to work as a powerline worker for utility providers.
