Institutional Research Analyst

Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Institutional Research Analyst, based out of our Scottsbluff, Nebraska Campus.

As part of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, the Institutional Research Analyst gathers, manages, analyses, interprets, and presents data to support strategic planning and effectiveness work conducted at the College. The Institutional Research Analyst conducts systematic review of data to identify problems and suggest solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity over time.  The Institutional Research Analyst is a primary resource for internal (WNCC) data requests and external (State, Federal) reporting.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited higher education institution in higher education, social research, data science, or a related field and two (2) years of professional-level experience in data analysis and reporting. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above. Experience in utilizing computer applications and database software in query building, data extraction and analysis. Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects to insure deadlines are met. 

Master’s Degree in research-related field is preferred, as well as proficiency with ERP/student information system Ellucian/Colleague, SQL, and statistical software. Working experience in institutional research or higher education research setting is a plus
